These terms govern your use of the open-source tools provided by Attestto Inc.: verify.attestto.com, app.attestto.com, attestto.org, and the Attestto ID browser extension.
Open source license
Attestto's tools are released under the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify, and distribute the source code subject to the terms of that license. The full license text is available in each repository.
No warranty
These tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall Attestto Inc. be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of these tools.
What Attestto is NOT
- Not a financial institution. Attestto does not hold, transmit, or manage funds on your behalf.
- Not a Certificate Authority. Attestto does not issue digital certificates. We verify signatures made with certificates issued by recognized CAs.
- Not a government entity. Attestto is a private company. Our tools do not replace official government verification processes.
Verification is informational
Document verification results provided by Attestto tools are informational only and do not constitute legal certification, notarization, or official validation. Users should not rely solely on these results for legal, financial, or regulatory decisions.
User responsibility
- You are responsible for safeguarding your own cryptographic keys and credentials.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of documents and credentials you create, sign, or present using Attestto tools.
- You must not use Attestto tools for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes.
Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep our services available, but we do not guarantee uptime. Services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
